Beautiful Siobhan

This is the photoblog of Siobhan, a New York City-raised pug. She is 14 years old and lived in Brooklyn with her mother until the spring of 2007, when they moved to California. Then they moved back to NYC. Then Mexico. Siobhan is a Gemini and her favorite toy is Mister Disgusting, a scrap of brown hairy fabric shaped like a teddy bear. Siobhan grudgingly acquired a sister streetdog, Rosarnita, in 2013. And in 2015... a tiny human sister, Big Baby Sof.

Beautiful Siobhan is OK

She did fine through surgery on her soft palate, and got 8 teeth extracted.
Poor, poor baby dog is on 5 different pain meds AND antibiotic.
Thank god we love our vet, the fabulous Dr. Bloom at Presidio Way Vet in San Francisco.


She is woozy still.

And she has a pain patch bandaged to her rear leg.

It is all very sad, but will be better soon.

    So sorry to hear about beautiful Siobhan's surgery. Teeth extraction is no fun! Hope you get lots of delicious ice cream in return.

    I was having a bipolar chihuahua episode yesterday at the beach (and attacked a pitbull), but suddenly relaxed at the realization that I wasn't having my palate trimmed or teeth extracted. I suppose that is the downfall of having a smooshed face.
